Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets: Kickers

Jason Myers (SEA): 40% rostered

Analysis: Entering Week 12, Myers was averaging 9.6 fantasy points per game, ranking sixth among kickers who had appeared in at least two games. Myers then booted two field goals and four extra points in the Seahawks’ Week 12 overtime loss to the Raiders. For the season, Myers is 20-of-21 on FG attempts and 30-of-31 on PATs. He gets a warm-weather Week 13 game against the Rams, who are giving up 8.8 fantasy points per game to kickers, followed by a Week 13 home game against the Panthers, who are giving up 8.5 FPPG to kickers.

Cameron Dicker (LAC): 28% rostered

Analysis: Dicker is a perfect 8-of-8 on field goals and 8-of-8 on extra points since joining the Chargers in Week 9. He’s tied to a strong Chargers offense. And every one of his matchups from now through Week 17 will be played in a warm-weather city or in a dome. Dicker gets an appealing Week 13 matchup against the defensively challenged Raiders.

Cade York (CLE): 4% rostered

Analysis: The Cleveland offense should get a boost this week with QB Deshaun Watson coming off suspension, and the Browns have a soft Week 13 matchup against the Texans, who are giving up more than 10 fantasy points per game to opposing kickers.

Ryan Succop (TB): 39% rostered

• True value: $1
• Desperate need: $1
• Budget-minded: $0

Analysis: The Buccaneers’ offensive struggles haven’t necessarily been detrimental to Succop, who ranks eighth in kicker scoring. Succop is 23-of-26 on field goals this season, with two of his three misses coming on attempts of 50+ yards. In Week 13, Succop gets a warm-weather home matchup against the Saints, who entered Week 12 having allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to kickers.

Greg Zuerlein (NYJ): 15% rostered

• True value: $1
• Desperate need: $1
• Budget-minded: $0

Analysis: Just when struggling Jets QB Zach Wilson was about to make Zuerlein unrosterable, Jets backup Mike White came along to preserve Greg the Leg’s fantasy value. The Jets’ offense looked perfectly functional on Sunday, putting up 31 points against the Bears with White at the controls. Zuerlein, who entered Week 12 tied for ninth in kicker scoring, gets a domed Week 13 matchup against the Vikings, who are giving up 10.9 fantasy points per game to kickers.
