Will Mark Andrews Play in Week 11? (2022 Fantasy Football)

Mark Andrews has been dealing with shoulder and knee injuries that have kept him limited since Week 7 and caused him to sit out in Week 9. When he is healthy, he joins Travis Kelce atop the tight end rankings, and many fantasy managers spent a second-round pick on him. Coming off Baltimore’s Week 10 bye, there is optimism that Andrews will return and be healthy enough to produce the elite numbers we’ve all come to expect. So will Mark Andrews play in Week 11? Here’s where things stand.

Mark Andrews (knee, shoulder) officially questionable for Week 11

Mark Andrews (knee, shoulder) was a full participant in practice on Friday. However, he is listed as questionable heading into Week 11 against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact

John Harbaugh announced that they won’t have a decision on Andrews’ status until Sunday morning. The fact that he practiced in full is a good sign, but as with any injury, the Ravens will likely approach this situation with caution in an effort to minimize the chance of re-injury.

What the Experts Are Saying

Andrews was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but upgraded to full on Friday. Andrews is the TE2 in fantasy points per game with a 29.9% target share (first) and 33.6% air yard share (first). He’s top-five in deep targets and red zone targets. If Andrews is active, you play him. Carolina is 24th in DVOA, giving up the 12th-highest catch rate to tight ends.

Video from Week 8 suggests an AC joint sprain (shoulder), which would most commonly cost 2-4 weeks for TEs. With Andrews now at 3, he has an excellent chance to play without much performance impact expected.
