Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Josh Jacobs (quad/calf) limited Wednesday; questionable for Thursday
Josh Jacobs (quad/calf) was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice and is considered questionable for Thursday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Jacobs is dealing with a couple of lower-body injuries that left him limited in practice all week. The Raiders are also coming off a short week, so that doesn’t help his chances to play. There doesn’t seem to be any indication that he will be unavailable for Thursday, but fantasy managers should continue to closely monitor his status.
Joe Mixon (concussion) a full participant in practice Wednesday
Joe Mixon was a full participant in practice Wednesday and has cleared the concussion protocol.
Fantasy Impact
Mixon suffered the concussion on November 20th against the Steelers. The 26-year-old running back ended up missing two games and should return to the field against the Browns in Week 14.
Kenneth Walker III (foot) misses practice Wednesday
Kenneth Walker III was sidelined in practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Walker left this past Sunday’s game early with what was considered a foot/ankle injury. He hasn’t been ruled out this week, but he seems to be a long shot to playing on Sunday against the Panthers. He could still have a chance to play with a return to practice on Thursday or Friday. Travis Homer, who was sidelined in Week 13, returned to practice on Wednesday while DeeJay Dallas was sidelined as well.
D’Onta Foreman (foot) ‘95% certain he will play’
D’Onta Foreman stated Wednesday that he is 95% sure he will play against Seattle.
Fantasy Impact
Foreman added that he thinks he injured his left foot when it got caught in the turf Sunday. If Foreman is unable to suit up, fantasy managers should expect Chuba Hubbard to get the bulk of the carries against the Seahawks. Either running back would be a worthy starting option against a weak Seattle run defense.
