NFL DFS Conference Championship Stacking Advice & Strategy (2023 Fantasy Football)

NFL DFS Conference Championship Stacking Advice & Strategy (2023 Fantasy Football)

As we head toward the end of this NFL season, we are faced with the Conference Championships. meaning we have four total teams to choose from for DFS. With this small slate, we must be perfect with our player selection to stand out above the rest.

Everyday thoughts on plays such as double tight end, double stacking with a bring back and others will all need to be in consideration to have a thriving Sunday. Let’s get right into it and break down the best stacks, strategies and more to help you win this weekend.

NFL DFS Conference Championship Stacking Advice & Strategy

Joe Burrow + Ja’Marr Chase+ Tyler Boyd (QB + WR+ WR Cin)

The Bengals have been strong this offseason and this should continue during their battle in Arrowhead. Burrow has had an impressive record against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Burrow will look to continue that against the Chiefs’ defense, which allows the third-highest fantasy points per game (FPPG). In addition, the Chiefs’ defense has allowed the seventh-most passing yards this season and the most passing touchdowns.

Burrow is a talented passer but also has a small Konami code in him this postseason. He has had five or more carries in each game this postseason. He has the talent, the matchup and now multiple paths to put a ceiling-type performance into our lineup Sunday.

We have highlighted Chase all season. We love the slate-breaking size and his exceptional talent. He will face a defense that allows a top-ten FPPG to the wide-receiver position. With that, the matchup is juicy for the Bengals’ alpha receiver.

Boyd is intriguing due to the salary cap relief he provides for your team. With the Chiefs allowing the seventh-highest amount of points to the slot position, Boyd needs to be in your lineups this weekend.

A.J. Brown + Eagles Def (WR + Def Phi)

We return to our love of elite size with immense talent. That thought pattern leads us to Brown. AJB can turn a seven-yard slant into a 70-yard reception, and a play like this makes all the difference on this small slate.

The Niners allow the fifth-highest fantasy points to the WR position this year. This defense has allowed the eighth-most receptions, sixth-highest catch rate and the sixth-highest receiving yards to wide receivers. With the Niners’ defense struggling with out-wide receivers (they allow the eighth-highest total of fantasy points in the league), everything screams that Brown should be dominant in this contest.

Our defensive play is simple. With the added pressure from Dallas, we watched the game get harder for QB Brock Purdy last week. He now faces a defense with 70-plus sacks this season. The Eagles also get the return of Avontae Maddox to help an already stacked defensive backfield.

The run Purdy has been on is impressive. However, this game will return the flow of normalcy for his seventh-round (last pick) draft capital. Philadelphia sports the best passing DVOA in the league, and although they struggle with the run, the Eagles have also recently solidified that sector of defense. This Eagles’ defense is a complete unit heading into this battle. With the Chiefs/Bengals game heading towards a shootout, taking stock in the one defense facing a rookie in a high-pressure situation will benefit our lineups.

Travis Kelce + Dallas Goedert (TE KC + TE Phi)

As we spoke of earlier, things like double-TE usually never reach this article or our lineups. However, in a smaller slate, anything goes!

Kelce has always been a stud and is the top passing target for Mahomes. This Kelce play allows us a slice of Mahomes’ production in our lineups. With the Bengals allowing top-ten production in receptions and yards to tight ends, Kelce should be in your lineup.

The caveat to this play? Use Kelce in the flex. Winning your flex is crucial to winning the slate, and Kelce gives you a leg up on this critical rule in fantasy. With that move, Goedert lands in your TE spot.

Last week, Goedert saw five targets, catching all of them for 58 yards and a touchdown. The two weeks before, he totaled 13 targets in two games. Goedert is vital to this Eagles’ offense. He will go under the radar and allow you some leverage this weekend against a defense allowing the 11th-highest catch rate to tight ends this season.
