Brock Purdy has resumed throwing

49ers’ general manager John Lynch stated Wednesday that QB Brock Purdy has resumed throwing.

Fantasy Impact

Purdy has only had one throwing session so far, but the team is encouraged and feels good about where he is in his rehab. Lynch added that they feel good about the quarterback position and that they will not put Purdy in a position where he is not fully ready to return to the field. Purdy currently ranks as QB32 in draft ECR, according to FantasyPros.

Amari Cooper (abdomen) should be good to go by training camp

Browns’ head coach Kevin Stefanski shared that Amari Cooper should be ready for training camp and should start football activities this week.

Fantasy Impact

Cooper underwear off-season surgery on his abdomen. The 28-year-old receiver tallied 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns on 78 receptions in 2022. Cooper should slot in as a WR2 for fantasy managers in 2023.

Breece Hall not expected to be ready for Day 1 of training camp

Breece Hall‘s return from ACL surgery remains uncertain, with no active participation in OTAs observed. Six months post-surgery, his readiness for training camp’s first day is debatable, despite light running witnessed recently.

Fantasy Impact

The Jets’ modest offseason running back investments imply confidence in Hall’s recovery or faith in their squad’s resilience. Hall was the RB6 in half-PPR points per game in just seven games (15.4). He averaged 5.8 yards per carry as a rusher and ranked fourth in yards after contact per attempt (4.13) before his season-ending knee injury. His fantasy value remains exceptionally high, even with the injury concern.
