Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Injury Replacements
Injury Outlook
Brock Bowers (knee) ruled out for Sunday
Brock Bowers (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Impact
The star tight end is going to miss a second-straight game on Sunday as he continues to recover from a knee injury that he suffered early in the season. It remains to be seen when he will be back in the lineup for Las Vegas, and fantasy managers should expect more work for Michael Mayer in the meantime.

Waiver Wire Replacements to Target
Hopefully, this is the last week Taylor qualifies for this article, as the rookie should be rostered in significantly more than 30.1% of ESPN leagues. After seeing three targets over the first two contests, the former LSU star has averaged 8.3 targets per game over the past three weeks, totaling six or more in every outing. Last week, he had nine receptions on 12 targets for 67 receiving yards and 17.7 PPR fantasy points, setting career highs in every category. Furthermore, the rookie led New York in receptions and targets.
More importantly, Taylor has become a massive part of the passing attack, leading the team in targets over the past two weeks (19). He is one of three Jets with more than nine targets this season, totaling 28, joining Garrett Wilson (48) and Breece Hall (24). Meanwhile, Denver has struggled against teams that use their tight ends, surrendering four receptions on 7.7 targets for 48 receiving yards and 10.8 fantasy points per game to Tyler Warren, Oronde Gadsden II, and Dallas Goedert. Expect Taylor to have similar numbers in London.
The Seahawks had to take to the air in Week 5 to try to keep pace with the Buccaneers. AJ Barner had the best game of his career, securing all seven of his targets (21.8% target share) for 53 receiving yards and a score. Barner has played at least 80% of the snaps in four out of five games this season, so he is clearly the Seahawks’ starting tight end. He’ll be game script sensitive moving forward, as the Seahawks do not want to pass a ton unless their hand is forced. Barner could still return streaming value, as his touchdown equity in this offense is real, with four scores in his last four games.
