6 Fantasy Baseball Risers & Fallers: Week 24 (2026)

6 Fantasy Baseball Risers & Fallers: Week 24 (2026)

Welcome to our weekly fantasy baseball risers and fallers column. In this article, I’ll identify three risers and three fallers based on what transpired over the previous week.

Given that we’re near the end of the season, there are more options to choose from. We know how managers are deploying their players, with some surprisingly receiving less playing time than initially expected. We also have a few young hitters who are making their presence felt immediately.

Without further ado, let’s find out who this week’s biggest risers and fallers are.

Fantasy Baseball Risers & Fallers

Fantasy Baseball Risers

Victor Mesa Jr. (OF – TB)

Victor Mesa Jr. has been terrific for the Rays lately. In the last seven days, he has three home runs and two stolen bases with a .715 wOBA in 21 plate appearances. He’s been bumped up to the 4th or 5th spot in the lineup, putting him in a better spot to rack up counting stats. Looks like the Rays have found another gem.

Garrett Mitchell (OF – MIL)

Garrett Mitchell is another red-hot hitter. In the last seven days, he has two homers and two steals with a .541 wOBA. This is a streaky hitter, so you want to take notice when he’s hot at the plate like this. Just keep in mind that he’s a lot better vs. righties. Stll, we should file away this hot streak for next year, when he can be an intriguing late-round pick.

    Henry Bolte (OF – ATH)

Henry Bolte has been scorching hot at the plate. In the last seven days, he has two home runs and five stolen bases in 25 plate appearances. The speed upside is what makes him such an intriguing asset. He’s been entrenched in the leadoff spot for the Bengals, putting him in a great spot for counting stats.

    Jackson Holliday (2B – BAL)

I had high hopes for Jackson Holliday coming into the season, but he hasn’t been able to get it done. In the last seven days, Holliday has a .171 wOBA with zero home runs. This puts his overall line at .228/.301/.342 with seven home runs and eight stolen bases. It’s another very disappointing year for a prospect that had a ton of hype coming into the league.

    Ozzie Albies (2B – ATL)

Ozzie Albies has a .247/.301/.342 slash with 21 home runs and three stolen bases in 632 plate appearances. With the stolen bases dried up, it’s hard to find much fantasy appeal for Albies heading into next year. In the last seven days, Albies has a .212 wOBA, so he’s been ice cold at the plate.

Colson Montgomery (3B, SS – CWS)

Colston Montgomery is slashing .207/.291/.428 slash with 31 home runs in 591 plate appearances. The 30+ homers are nice, but he’s a major problem on your batting average. That 34.7% strikeout rate simply isn’t going to cut it. In the last seven days, Montgomery has a .191 wOBA. He won’t be a target in fantasy next year.
