Fantasy Baseball Prospect Report: Rankings, Updates & Stashes

The 2026 fantasy baseball season is coming to an end soon, and we have seen plenty of significant movement with some of Major League Baseball’s top prospects. Injuries, poor performance and team context have led to significant movement in minor league systems. Some of baseball’s biggest prospects have been called up, and several others seem to be headed for a 2027 debut. We know those who have made it to the Majors. Who are the others? That’s what this fantasy baseball prospect report is for.

Top prospects like Kade Anderson, Max Clark, Travis Bazzana, Colt Emerson, Chase DeLauter, JJ Wetherholt, Konnor Griffin, Gage Jump and Kevin McGonigle have all had varying amounts of success in their rookie seasons. Many more will graduate from prospect status in the coming weeks.

However, there are still a plethora of big names that are still in the minor leagues who need more seasoning before making their MLB debuts.

                    Fantasy Baseball Prospect Report

This regular piece will look at some of the best prospects from a fantasy baseball perspective and track their production. Below is a report of the top Major League Baseball prospects (hitters and pitchers) who have yet to make it to the Majors (or have just been called up), focusing on their last 30 days of minor-league production (with stats provided from FanGraphs).

As players on this list move up and graduate from prospect status, more names will fill in as we track the top prospects for dynasty and keeper fantasy baseball leagues. This list will focus on the top pitchers and hitters based on MLB’s Top 100 Prospects List, noting others outside that list when appropriate.

                    Hitters

                    Jesus Made (SS – MIL)

The last month has not been kind to Jesus Made, as he has hit .212 with zero home runs, four steals and 16 strikeouts. It’s a small blemish on an otherwise magnificent season. Overall, Made is hitting .269/344/422 with 13 home runs, 88 RBI and 36 steals.

Leo De Vries (SS – ATH)

Leo De Vries only played in two games over the last 30 days after suffering a shoulder injury, and the Athletics announced he will undergo surgery to correct the problem. There is no need for them to try to rush back their franchise future cornerstone, so expect De Vries back sometime in 2027.

                      Eli Willits (SS – WSH)

Eli Willits looks a lot like Jesus Made over the last month. He is hitting just .222 with zero home runs, 12 steals and 26 strikeouts. The steals are wonderful, and he now has 60 for the season, but his strikeout rate has been horrible lately and is dragging down his batting average.

Sebastian Walcott (SS, 3B – TEX)

Sebastian Walcott is hitting .333/.413/.645 in 35 minor league games this season. He has 10 homers and 21 RBI this year.

Josue De Paula (OF – LAD)

Josue De Paula also has been showing power over the last 30 days, as he has five home runs, six doubles and 16 RBI to go along with a decent .253 average in 104 plate appearances. As a 23-year-old in AA, I would have thought he might get an MLB shot by now, but not yet.

                      Franklin Arias (SS – BOS)

Franklin Arias is on another offensive tear right now, hitting .355 with 15 runs and 13 RBI in his last 20 games. He has slowed down in the home run and steals department, and with Trevor Story back, it’s unlikely we see Arias in the Big Leagues this season.

                        Walker Jenkins (OF – MIN)

Walker Jenkins was on an absurd tear over his last 12 games in the minor leagues before his call-up, hitting .444 with six homers, six steals, and more walks (11) than strikeouts (seven). But he is only hitting .125/.263/.281 in 11 Major League games so far.

                          Caleb Bonemer (SS – CWS)

Caleb Bonemer leads this group with seven home runs in the last 30 days (24 games), but he is still hitting just .242 in that span. I thought the White Sox might call him up for the stretch run, considering he is 24, but Bonemer might need an injury for a spot to open up.

                          Theo Gillen (OF – TBR)

Theo Gillen’s speed has definitely not slowed down in the last month, even though his power has trailed off some. He does have 21 home runs and 44 steals overall this season, but just one of those homers has come in the last month. Gillen has five steals and a .296 average over that span.

                          Mike Sirota (OF – LAD)

Mike Sirota has only played 10 games in the last month because he suffered a knee injury on August 18th that required an injured list (IL) stint. He is only hitting .189 since his return, and he had knee problems last year as well, so this is an important injury to monitor.

                          Pitchers

                          Seth Hernandez (SP – PIT)

Seth Hernandez is still recovering from an oblique injury suffered in late July, which the team said would take eight weeks to heal. Before the injury, the right-hander posted a dominant 2.43 ERA with 118 strikeouts over 74 innings across Single-A Bradenton and High-A Greensboro

                          Jamie Arnold (SP – ATH)

Jamie Arnold has four starts in the last month that have totaled 22.1 innings. In those games, he has a 1.61 ERA and 25 strikeouts. Since he was promoted to AAA at age 22, there is a good chance we will see him in the Majors next season.

                          Ryan Sloan (SP – SEA)

Ryan Sloan is the top pitching prospect for the Seattle Mariners now that Kade Anderson has been called up. In the last 30 days, Sloan has a 2.95 ERA with 33 strikeouts in 21.1 innings. Only in AA, it’s doubtful Sloan gets a look this season.

                          Liam Doyle (SP – STL)

Liam Doyle might be the most dominant starting pitching prospect in the minor leagues over the last month. He has gone 4-0 with a 1.23 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 22 innings. He should be part of the Cardinals’ pitching rotation at some point in 2027.
