Fantasy Football QB Streamers & Waiver Wire Targets (Week 2)

Fantasy Football QB Streamers & Waiver Wire Targets (Week 2)

Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season is in the books. Hopefully, your team pulled out the victory. However, the only easy win was last week’s. So, let’s look at the top fantasy football streaming quarterback options for Week 2.

Fantasy Football Quarterback Streamers & Waiver Wire Targets

All quarterbacks in this article are rostered in fewer than 50% of ESPN leagues.

Tyler Shough (NO) vs. Baltimore Ravens (46.7% Rostered)

While Shough got off to an awful start in Week 1, the former Louisville star found his rhythm and had a strong performance against the Detroit Lions. The second-year pro had 410 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 23.2 fantasy points. While he had 56 pass attempts in a game the Saints were trailing for most of the contest, Shough also lost six fantasy points due to three turnovers. More importantly, New Orleans struggled to get their run game going while their defense gave up 31 points to Detroit.

Therefore, fantasy players should expect Shough to be in a similar situation in Week 2 against Baltimore. Last week, the Ravens’ offense was unstoppable, scoring 31 of their 41 points in the first half against the Indianapolis Colts. More importantly, Daniel Jones had a decent performance against the Ravens, especially considering it was his first game back from a torn Achilles. The veteran completed 61.3% of his pass attempts for 166 yards, a touchdown, and nine fantasy points. Shough should have no problem doubling Jones’ fantasy production against the Ravens.

Jordan Love (GB) vs. New York Jets (42.1% Rostered)

Many expected the Packers’ rushing attack to struggle early in the year without Josh Jacobs. However, MarShawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks were horrific in Week 1, totaling 66 rushing yards on 20 attempts against the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, Love had 42 pass attempts. Despite completing only half of his pass attempts against an elite Minnesota defense, the former Utah State star had 387 yards, two touchdowns, and 19.5 fantasy points even with two turnovers. Thankfully, the veteran will have a far more friendly matchup this week.

Hopefully, fantasy players didn’t watch the Week 1 matchup between the Jets and Tennessee Titans, as neither offense looked great. Furthermore, the Titans offense was horrific, averaging four yards per play. Yet, that wasn’t the result of New York’s defense, as anyone who watched Tennessee play in the preseason knows. More importantly, Cam Ward struggled in Week 1, totaling 0.3 fantasy points per pass attempt. By comparison, Love averaged 0.51 fantasy points per pass attempt on Sunday. Fantasy players should love the idea of streaming Love against Aaron Glenn’s defense.

Bryce Young (CAR) vs. Atlanta Falcons (11.2% Rostered)

The jury is still out on whether Young is Carolina’s franchise quarterback. However, the former Alabama star has put together back-to-back outstanding performances, totaling 266 passing yards, a touchdown, and 21 fantasy points in last year’s playoff matchup. More importantly, he finished Week 1 as a top-five quarterback, totaling 361 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 31.4 fantasy points. Furthermore, Young provided fantasy upside with his legs, scoring a rushing touchdown on Sunday. While fantasy players shouldn’t expect high-end production from him all year, Young has an excellent early-season schedule.

After facing an injury-impacted Chicago Bears defense in Week 1, Young has a spectacular schedule before the Week 5 bye. He faces the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the Cleveland Browns next week, and the Detroit Lions in Week 4. All three matchups give him top-10 upside. Unfortunately, Atlanta’s defense might be one of the worst in the NFL, having already lost three pass rushers for at least half the season. Furthermore, Young had 448 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 31.8 fantasy points in his last meeting against the division rivals.

Carson Wentz (MIN) vs. Chicago Bears (0.1% Rostered)

Kyler Murray left the Week 1 matchup against the Green Bay Packers after five pass attempts following a massive hit by two defenders, resulting in the veteran suffering a concussion. Head coach Kevin O’Connell told the media on Monday that Murray is in the concussion protocol but didn’t rule out the veteran for Week 2. However, if Murray doesn’t play, Wentz has top-10 upside against the Bears on Sunday. The former North Dakota State star was outstanding against the Packers, coming off the bench to score 19.2 fantasy points.

Furthermore, Wentz completed 63.2% of his 19 pass attempts for 133 yards and three touchdowns, repeatedly connecting with Justin Jefferson. The former No. 2 NFL Draft pick isn’t an elite fantasy quarterback but should have success against the division rivals on Sunday. Chicago had no answers for Bryce Young in Week 1, surrendering a top-five finish. The former Alabama star had 361 passing yards, three touchdowns, a rushing score, and 31.4 fantasy points against the Bears. Wentz should be the top waiver wire add this week in superflex leagues.
