Fantasy Football Rankings You Need for Your Draft: QB & TE

    2026 Fantasy Football Draft Advice

    Quarterback Movers

    Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS)

Quarterback typically sees the least ranking movement of any position once expert consensus settles in for the summer, which makes Daniels stand out. He’s one of only two quarterbacks inside the current top 12 carrying a real risk flag in expert consensus rankings, the other being a veteran with a much longer track record of past bounce-backs to lean on. The concern centers on his team’s offensive line, which lost a star left tackle this offseason and has a starting center who missed most of the summer with a calf injury, described by one outside publication as tissue thin on the interior. A genuinely difficult schedule adds further risk, and real-time rankings actually shifted downward again in the day leading into this very recording, a reminder of how fluid this evaluation remains. That said, a large number of individual rankers still have him rated as a top-three-to-five quarterback, creating real, genuinely wide disagreement rather than a settled consensus.

    Jaxson Dart (QB – NYG)

Dart has dropped notably in ranking, moving from inside the top 12 to outside it over the past month. The driver is broader skepticism about the sustainability of his rookie rushing pace, tied partly to uncertainty about a teammate’s health. The counter-argument is that his rushing floor isn’t going anywhere regardless of that teammate’s exact health status, since it’s a core, defining part of his game as a young, athletic quarterback, and even a limited version of that teammate still represents a real upgrade over no healthy version at all. His price has fallen enough that he now represents real value in the 10th or 11th round, with a favorable week one matchup adding further reason for optimism. Site rankers show a striking gap on this exact player, with one analyst ranking him inside his own personal top 10 and another ranking him near 19th, one of the largest individual disagreements at the position this year.

    Tight End Movers

    Isaiah Likely (TE – NYG)

Likely has jumped a teammate to move inside the top 12 tight ends in real time during this very recording, reflecting real momentum behind him. He carries real top-five fantasy upside specifically if a teammate wide receiver isn’t fully healthy to open the season, positioning him as a potential top target in that offense for at least the first month. Historically, whenever a specific former teammate has missed time in the past, Likely has posted fringe top-five tight end numbers, with real belief that a legendary-player dynamic at his old team kept him from ever fully overtaking that entrenched starter despite a real, visible production gap in his favor. This fits a common tight end pattern: a player buried behind an established starter on one team finally breaking out on a second team once given a real opportunity.

    Dalton Schultz (TE – HOU)

Schultz has risen more than two rounds in overall ranking over the past month, though his actual draft position still lags a bit behind where his ranking now sits. He offers a genuinely reliable floor-level target share in his offense, supported by a strong reception total last year, but is best framed as a steady, plug-and-play floor option rather than a true difference-maker, a useful distinction between a player who’s simply usable off your bench and one who could become indispensable.

    Terrance Ferguson (TE – LAR)

Ferguson has climbed more than three rounds in overall ranking over the past month, now ranking above Schultz, and stands as the only tight end among the top 25 at the position carrying a real significant-movement indicator over just the past week. Unlike Schultz, he offers genuine difference-maker upside, with his head coach repeatedly praising him directly and real reports describing him being used all over the offensive formation in a wide variety of alignments. Multiple fragile complementary weapons on his roster, including one aging veteran receiver and another with a real recent injury and availability history, could open a real featured role for Ferguson if either misses time, and the team’s decision to specifically trade back for a veteran receiver this offseason signals genuinely thin existing depth at the position behind him.
