Director of Content

Description:
We’re looking for a Director of Content to lead our content team at FantasyPros and BettingPros. This role involves managing our effort to create high quality, compelling content across all channels (written/audio/video). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience leading cross-functional teams in planning and executing a content strategy. Desired candidates will possess the vision, creativity and analytical ability to drive growth across KPIs for our content program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the vision and strategy for content across channels: Written, Audio, Video.
- Own content program’s performance from goal setting to ongoing measurement.
- Oversee execution of content strategy via management of editors, analysts, writers, and creative team.
- Identify areas to grow our audience and sharpen our voice across channels.
- Monitor analytics to measure content performance and inform data-driven decisions.
- Lead effort to benchmark our content vs. competitors to locate opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Partnership teams to improve content reach.
- Serve as champion for content marketing to expand reach and engagement.
- Evaluate and monitor existing tools and technologies to improve content efficiency and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with previous experience implementing content strategies.
- Analytical ability to define KPIs and determine content effectiveness.
- Strategic vision with experience managing a team.
- Creativity with an “ideas person” mentality.
- Knowledge of content marketing trends and techniques including channels and technology.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Strong editorial standards and organization skills.
- Passionate about fantasy sports and sports betting.
