Player Note on Latavius Murray (RB - NO)
Murray will get the start with Kamara out, but he is still only a flex or low-end RB2 play in this spot.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling (WR - GB)

Player Note on Marquez Valdes-Scantling (WR - GB)
With Adams and Allison seemingly both out, MVS will need to finally step up this week against the Raiders. However, he has not taken advantage of opportunities yet, and he is dealing with an injury of his own. If he is active, he should be considered as a WR3 with upside.
Darius Slayton (WR - NYG)
3d
Player Note on Darius Slayton (WR - NYG)
Slayton may be the receiver matched up with Patrick Peterson the most, making him only a desperation play this week. The Giants should lean on Saquon, Engram, and Tate instead.
Latavius Murray (RB - NO)
3d
Player Note on Latavius Murray (RB - NO)
Murray is coming off his best game of the year, but he should be avoided against the talented Chicago front seven.
Chris Thompson (RB - WAS)
3d
Player Note on Chris Thompson (RB - WAS)
Thompson is dealing with injury, making his status questionable against the Niners. It's best just to avoid him at all costs this week.
Darrell Henderson (RB - LAR)
3d
Player Note on Darrell Henderson (RB - LAR)
Henderson was the most effective back in Gurley's absence, and with Brown dealing with an ankle injury, Henderson could see extended work, even if Gurley is active this week. Still, he is only a desperation play at flex if Gurley is back.
Ito Smith (RB - ATL)

Player Note on Ito Smith (RB - ATL)
With Freeman finding more success on the ground recently, Smith's value has fallen. he is not usable in this matchup.

C.J. Anderson (RB - FA) - C.J. Anderson signs with Panthers
Sat, May 12
Love love love this move for the Panthers. Don't let his recent production fool you, Anderson is a talented back and will be an upgrade from Jonathan Stewart. Last season, Stewart averaged about 13 rushes for 45 yards per game. I think Anderson can be closer to 60 per game with a couple more scores, though he could quickly turn into a headache to own depending on the game plan. I do, however, think the offense will be better, thus creating more opportunities.
Mark Ingram (RB - BAL) - Mark Ingram suspended four games for PEDs
Sat, May 12
Ingram will appeal this suspension, but we need to simply treat this thinking he serves the full four games. I'd say this pushes Ingram down to around the sixth round in drafts, after rookies Guice and Penny, and near other vets with workload questions, like Lamar Miller or Dion Lewis. It will be tough to draft him there, since a four-game suspension means he plays one game in the first six weeks. Yikes. Seems like an obvious buy-low in-season if the drafter is struggling.
