Indianapolis Colts (DST - IND)

Player Note on Indianapolis Colts (DST - IND)
Advertised as a preseason top-10 defense by many this offseason,
Chicago Bears (DST - CHI)

Player Note on Chicago Bears (DST - CHI)
Chicago's D/ST forced two turnovers in Week 1, and while the matchup with New York is solid in Week 2, there is some concern here. The G-Men have plenty of home-run hitters on offense in Saquon Barkley, Darius Slayton, and Evan Engram, and the coaching staff apparently isn't afraid to let Danny Dimes turn it lose after he threw it 41 times a week ago. I'll still roll with Chicago D/ST as a top-12 option this week, but there is some trap-game potential here.
Ben Roethlisberger (QB - PIT)
6d
Player Note on Ben Roethlisberger (QB - PIT)
In his first game back in action, Big Ben tossed three tuddies against the G-Men in Week 1. His matchup is a little more difficult in Week 2, but this is a Broncos team that will be without the services of Von Miller and A.J. Bouye. Roethlisberger has fringe QB1 value this week.
Deshaun Watson (QB - HOU)
6d
Player Note on Deshaun Watson (QB - HOU)
Watson and the Texans face a stout Baltimore defense in Week 2, and while you can't bench him here, expectations should be tempered for the Houston signal-caller. With a plethora of quality options this week, Watson is on the QB1 border in this difficult spot.
Younghoe Koo (K - ATL)
7d
Player Note on Younghoe Koo (K - ATL)
For the second week in a row, Koo will be playing in a game with a high over/under. This week, the o/u comes in at a whopping 53, as both teams are expected to score plenty of points here. Fire up Koo as a top-10 option in Week 2.
Dan Bailey (K - MIN)
7d
Player Note on Dan Bailey (K - MIN)
Bailey and the Vikings get a favorable matchup with Indy this week, and the kicker could be in for a more productive day than he was in Week 1. In that one, the Vikings fell behind early, forcing multiple two-point conversion attempts and fewer attempts for Bailey. Minnesota should be more inclined to keep pace with its opponent in Week 2.
Matthew Stafford (QB - DET)
7d
Player Note on Matthew Stafford (QB - DET)
Detroit found surprising success with the run game in Week 1 against Chicago, but Matt Stafford still threw the ball 42 times in that contest. He may have to throw it even more in Week 2 to keep pace with Aaron Rodgers and Co. in what could turn into a shootout at Lambeau. Stafford is in the QB1 conversation this week.
Jimmy Garoppolo (QB - SF)
7d
Player Note on Jimmy Garoppolo (QB - SF)
Jimmy G gets an exploitable Week 2 matchup, though it's entirely possible the Niners blow the doors off of Gang Green and milk the clock with the run game. Garoppolo is on the QB1 border this week in a game his team should win comfortably.
Jared Goff (QB - LAR)
7d
Player Note on Jared Goff (QB - LAR)
Goff struggled in Week 1 against Dallas, and though he gets an easier task in Philly for Week 2, Goff has a couple things working against him. The team's reliance on the run game seems to be renewed in the post-Todd Gurley era, and Goff has notoriously performed more poorly on the road than at home throughout his career. He's more of a QB2 this week.
Los Angeles Chargers (DST - LAC)
7d
Player Note on Los Angeles Chargers (DST - LAC)
Though Los Angeles Chargers DST is a solid unit with great pass rushers and a quality secondary, the matchup against Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes is too difficult to trust in Week 2. This is a DST that should stay on your bench here.
