Notes
Pollock was a fantasy monster in 2015, but then an elbow injury cost him almost the entire 2016 season and he hasn't been quite the same player since. A 20-20 season is in the realm of possibility here, and Pollock should score plenty of runs atop the Dodgers lineup as long as he can stay healthy. Just don't reach too early while dreaming of 2015.
Andrew Seifter - FantasyPros
Robles has been somewhat overshadowed by Juan Soto in Washington, but he had success in a brief stint with the Nationals last year and looks poised to break out in 2019. The projection systems generally expect Robles to steal at least 25 bases with low-double digit home runs and a batting average in the .275 range, which would probably be enough to make Robles worth deploying immediately, even in three outfielder leagues.
Andrew Seifter - FantasyPros
A broken thumb marked the third different injury to besiege Pollock in as many years. Although a terrific source of power and speed when healthy, he has played just 112 and 113 games in the last two seasons, respectively. When on the field, he endured a massive spike in strikeouts (21.7%) with a 77.8% contact rate five points below his career norm. Drafters must take all of these downsides into account while acknowledging the possibility of a 25/20 season with massive run-scoring upside if batting atop the Dodgers' lineup.
Andrew Gould - FantasyPros
Everyone expected Washington's hot-shot outfielder prospect to break out in 2018. Only it was Juan Soto instead of Victor Robles, who suffered an elbow injury in spring training. The higher-rated of the two rising stars last year, Robles is poised to replace Bryce Harper in the Nationals' starting lineup. If given the chance, he has shown the ability to hit for contact with solid power and intriguing speed. Lorenzo Cain's name is frequently mentioned as a comparison, and the rookie's Steamer projections (.274/.335/.417, 12 HRs, 27 SBs) aren't all that far off from the Milwaukee outfielder. Robles' ADP could quickly rise in light of Harper signing with the Phillies.
Andrew Gould - FantasyPros
Prior to yet another injury, Pollock was among the best fantasy assets in baseball. He had 12 homers, 9 steals and 38 RBIs through just 186 at bats. The ceiling for Pollock is a 30/20 player with a batting average near .300, but he has only played more than 115 games just twice in his career so don't forget about the risk in drafting him.
Bobby Sylvester - FantasyPros
If Alex Reyes doesn't make the Cardinals' rotation, Robles is far and away the favorite to win NL Rookie of the Year. Robles is a true five-tool talent that is polished enough to be a top 45 fantasy outfielder right away. The power may come a little later, but he will steal more than enough bases to warrant a mid-round pick.
