Notes
Wood had the best season of his career last year, going 16-3 despite starting the year in the Dodgers' bullpen. He kept the ball on the ground with the best of them (53% ground ball rate, eighth-best in the league), and kept his strikeout rate at a solid, if not elite level. Wood missed some time on the DL (as did all Dodgers pitchers), and his health is always a concern. But he's moving to pitching purely out of the stretch this season, which seemed to help Stephen Strasburg stay healthier last season. Wood has enormous potential, but the injury risk, and his slightly higher FIP (3.32) and xFIP (3.34) than ERA (2.72) last year, keep him out of the stud discussion.
Dan Harris - FantasyPros

Wood is an interesting case study because everyone was screaming for regression after his 10-0 start with a 1.67 ERA, .173 BAA and 10.9 K/9 in the first-half. When the regression came (3.89 ERA, .262 BAA and 6.8 K/9), no one seemed to notice because the final numbers were those of an ace. The second half ought to concern you enough that you don't even consider taking him within the first 10 rounds.
