Anthony Rizzo homered in the top of the first inning Wednesday to put the Cubs up 1-0. It was his 11th of the season and second in two days. For the second straight game, the Rizzo blast was the only time the Cubs scored.

Notes
I consider 1B's less valuable and while Rizzo is a heck of a hitter, I can't draft them or him as high as equal or dual-threat guys. I do still take him before the next tier of SP, which begins with Castillo and Corbin.
Chris Mitchell - FantasyData
Strikeouts: they're addictive and why Corbin is higher on my list than maybe he deserves. His potential to get them. Nice schedule and park effects in the 60 game sprint structure of this season. Orioles, Mets, Marlins, Rays.
Chris Mitchell - FantasyData
It's like the fantasy community finally caught on to Rizzo. For years, he's gone in the first few rounds of drafts, but there was really no justification for it. Even now, going 43rd overall is early for Rizzo, who fails to stand out in any real way. He's a poor man's Freddie Freeman, but, like, really poor. The power production has dipped, too, and that's in an age where you need your first baseman to hit home runs. If you want to grab him as a safe play at a shallow position, go for it, but you're passing up on better talent to do so.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
Why is Patrick Corbin being underrated? Sure, his 2018 season raised eyebrows in a contract year, but he backed it up in 2019, which typically silences the critics. Instead, you're getting a safe - albeit with limited No. 1 upside potential - ace in the fifth round. Take it the value and run. Corbin allows you to either load up with hitters early on and have him as your fallback option, or he allows you to have two aces to give you a leg-up on your competition.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
About as safe as you can get. Great pick if you take risks elsewhere.
Michael Petropoulos - BRoto Fantasy
Corbin largely followed up on his breakout 2018 season with the Nationals last year, again reaching the 200-inning plateau and pitching to a low-3.00 ERA. He continued to lean heavily on his outstanding slider, against which batters hit just .158. His walk rate and strikeout rate rose and fell just a tad from his peak, a trend that fantasy owners can expect to continue. But Corbin's baseline is excellent and even with further slow decline in skills, he should be an outstanding starter for a fantasy rotation.
Dan Harris - FantasyPros
Consistent but lacking upside at this stage of his career. Receives a boost in OBP leagues
Brendan Tuma - BettingPros
About as consistent as you can get. Tremendous option if you decide to go hitter-hitter or even hitter-hitter-hitter to start.
Michael Petropoulos - BRoto Fantasy
 better in points
Frank Stampfl - CBS Sports
Has put up back-to-back seasons with 200 IP, 230+ strikeouts, and an ERA in the low 3s
