You have to hand it to the Brewers - they produce relievers who put up historically great seasons. Williams wasn't just good in 2020 - he was truly beyond belief. A 0.33 ERA. One run and eight hits allowed in 27 innings. A 44% K-BB%. Williams has battled injuries for much of his career, but given what he did last year, he should be drafted among the elite fantasy relievers in the game. Even if he never gets a save chance with Josh Hader in front of him, his ratios make him more than worth it. Dan Harris - FantasyPros | Price was traded to the Dodgers along with Mookie Betts, but hasn't yet made a start with the team after opting out of the 2020 season. He'll be back for 2021, but his role isn't yet solidified according to reports, especially considering the extreme depth of the Dodgers' rotation. When healthy, even at his advanced age, Price is still a quality major league starter, with above-average strikeout and walk rates. The issue for Price is really health, as he's averaged only about 120 innings per season over his previous three years. His average draft position reflects the risk, and assuming he does end up in the rotation, he offers as much upside as anyone going in his range. There's still juice left for Price when he's healthy, so monitor reports out of the spring. Dan Harris - FantasyPros
In the shortened 2020 season, Williams became the first reliever to ever win Rookie of the Year without earning a single save. This was a credit to his four wins, nine holds, 0.33 ERA, and 53 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched. Williams is once again unlikely to earn many saves in 2021, but his ratios are so elite that he's worth rostering in any and all fantasy leagues. To put in perspective how dominant Williams' changeup is - the spin rate on his changeup led the No. 2 finisher by more than 400 RPM, which was a bigger gap than No. 2 to No. 69. Should anything happen to Josh Hader, Williams would arguably become my top ranked closer in fantasy baseball. Brendan Tuma - FantasyPros
Devin Williams was incredible in 2020 and ended up taking home the NL Rookie Year of the Year award. He owned a 0.33 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and a 53:9 K:BB across 27 innings last season. Williams will be one of the more popular relievers off the board for upcoming fantasy drafts, especially in league formats which use the category solds (save and holds). The Brewers reportedly were looking to move on from current closer Josh Hader. Williams would have the closer job all to himself and can be considered a top-5 reliever if Hader is dealt.
