Notes
All it takes for Eddie Rosario to be a better fantasy player is for him to learn how to take a walk. He now has three seasons out of five with a walk rate of 3.7 or lower. If he could get that up to 8 percent, you're looking at a top 45 pick. As it is, he's a guy who is going to help you in home runs, RBIs, and be fine at batting average. That player is also known as nearly every other player in fantasy.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
Look, we get it. No one really wants to draft a catcher. And for those of you in two-catcher leagues (first off, stop), no one wants to draft two catchers. But if you decide that you want to have an advantage at the position, it makes sense to take J.T. Realmuto here because of the overall production he'll bring and the added volume of games he'll play in his second season in Philadelphia. If there are no other players you like on the board and you feel like you can get adequate value at the other positions later, go ahead and click the draft button.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
Even despite missing 25 games, Rosario still drove in 109 runs thanks to 32 homers. With a full season and his steady .280 batting average, drafting him at his eighth-round ADP is pure thievery. He won't steal any bags but there is certainly something to be said for his consistent bat.
Bobby Sylvester - FantasyPros
Realmuto didn't quite live up to the lofty expectations last year but still managed to finish as the top catcher in fantasy baseball. He is a near-lock to again lead the position in steals and runs while providing 20+ homers, 75+ RBI and a solid batting average. His ceiling might not be as high as Gary Sanchez, but you know you are drafting a sure-fire top 100 player with Realmuto.
Bobby Sylvester - FantasyPros
Perennially underrated. Grab him in the 8th, 9th or even 10th round and there is no way he ends up a losing investment.
