Notes
Giles is the perfect candidate for your first closer if you don't want to invest heavily into the top guys. He has no competition in the pen in Toronto.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
Rodriguez has tested positive for COVID-19, and Ron Roenicke has admitted that it's unlikely the Red Sox will have him ready for Opening Day. He's reportedly asymptomatic, however, which hopefully means he'll be able to have two positive tests and return to the team sometime after the first few days.
Dan Harris - FantasyPros
Giles may have had the quietest 1.87 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in the history of baseball. Add to that a a 14.09/9 strikeout rate and Giles was one of the best relievers in baseball in 2019. He'll be a free agent after this year so it seems unlikely he holds down the closer's role in Toronto all year. But he'll certainly help your overall numbers in the first half of the season at least.
Dan Harris - FantasyPros
Rodríguez' biggest attribute last year was that he won a ton of games. You can't bet on that, so you can't bet on a repeat season for him, at least to the same level.
