Notes
Strange 2019 and yet still a very productive one. 25/15/.280 feels like his Floor with 30/25/.300 as a reachable Ceiling in a standard 162 game year. Adjust the math for 60 and you got a Top 10 dual-threat guy. Safe and yet elite. That pushes him this high and justifiably higher for owners that aren't buying into the idea that SP is thin and needs to be poached earlier than in past years.
Chris Mitchell - FantasyData
Fernando Tatis Jr. is one of the more polarizing players for draft season. When we revisit this article next year, we'll either be looking at Tatis as a top-five pick or as a source of debate over how far he should fall after his disappointing second year in the bigs. We know the differential with his expected stats, but do we talk about his plate discipline enough? He had a 29.6 K% last year, with only an 8 BB%. The walk rate is passable, but if Tatis keeps striking out at that rate, it's going to hurt his overall game. Suddenly, you're looking at a guy with 180 strikeouts who's hitting .260. The power/speed combo that he brings is nice, but you can get similar production later in the draft waiting on someone like Bo Bichette, who has a much safer floor for batting average.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
We've seen the absolute floor and absolute ceiling for Ramírez in 2019, and man, was it the tell of two seasons for him. Even with the early-season struggles, Ramírez posted a 23-homer, 24-steal season. Just because he struggled in the first part of the 2019 season doesn't mean he'll struggle in the first part of this season, but it also doesn't mean that he'll post the numbers that he posted in the latter months of the 2019 season. Still, the production is worth the slight risk.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
This is high for such a young player with so little track record, but dual-threat HR/SB guys are running out at this stage in drafts. 20/20/.280 is a lock, 25/25/310 is possible and he qualifies at SS. I can't justify drafting a Non-Base stealing bat ahead of Tatis when he should provide 15-20 bases falling out of bed even if he was to miss 20 or so games due to injury. The floor is too high.
Chris Mitchell - FantasyData
Ramirez's overall 2019 season was obviously subpar, as much as a 23-homer, 24-steal year can be. He batted just .218 in the first half with a mere seven home runs, and his fantasy value was saved only by his 18 first-half steals. But he looked closer to his old self in the second half, batting .327 with an 1.105 OPS. Whether it was him trying to do too much in the first half or something related to his newborn child (his surge happened to coincide with his return from paternity leave), Ramirez's return to normalcy in the second half should give you plenty of confidence in his 2020 outlook.
Dan Harris - FantasyPros
.410 BABIP is unsustainable but Tatis went 22/16 in 84 games as a rookie. Immense upside

Followed his terrible slump with a terrific stretch and then an injury
