Notes
Jansen finally reported to camp on Sunday, July 12, and revealed that he was delayed because he had tested positive for COVID-19. Dave Roberts stated that he expected Jansen to be ready for the regular season, which means he can be drafted as a top-10 closer.
Dan Harris - FantasyPros
If you're playing the volume game and quantity over quality, Lynn is your guys. What he did in 2019 seems legit, based on the numbers, but it's hard to shake what he's done over his career in comparison.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
He's not the dominant force of yesteryear, but he's still a safe saves source in the shortened season.
Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros
Lynn was truly phenomenal last season, turning his velocity gains into both an increase in strikeout rate and a massive drop in walk rate. Everything Lynn did in 2019 was backed up by his underlying metrics, so there's plenty of reason for optimism in 2020. But it's fair to consider how out of character Lynn's year was, an add just a wee bit of caution to your projections.
Dan Harris - FantasyPros
If he can replicate his 2019 season he will be a tremendous value at ADP. A 200+ K pitcher with a strong ERA and Whip in the 9th-10th round is very alluring. Had an FIP even better than his ERA in 2019, so there is reason for optimism.
