The Minnesota Twins started hot but have tailed off of late, a trend which continued this evening when the Cleveland Indians roughed up Phil Hughes. Hughes lasted less than four innings, surrendering six runs, four of which were earned.

Phil Hughes followed up his great first start with a bit of a clunker. Hughes lasted just five and two thirds, ceding four runs in that span. Much of the damage came off the bat of Justin Upton during the final frame. Hughes was able to still get the win thanks to some heavy run support from his teammates.
