Myers will play the outfield in San Diego this year, but will carry over third base eligibility from last season, making him one of the very few options for speed at 3B. He averaged 29 home runs and 24 stolen bases between 2016 and 2017, and was on pace to again go 20-20 last year if not for missing nearly half the season due to a host of different injuries. You can't expect Myers to do much better than his .253 career batting average, but his combination of power and speed makes him a sneaky contender to finish as a top-12 third baseman in roto/categories leagues if he can stay healthy.
Andrew Seifter - FantasyPros
Profar finally got a full chance last year for Texas and posted 20 homers and 10 stolen bases. He takes a hit in projections moving from Texas to Oakland's ballpark, but keep in mind that he just turned 26 years old and very likely hasn't hit his prime yet.
Bobby Sylvester - FantasyPros
After seemingly shredding the injury-prone designation with two fully healthy seasons, Myers' 2018 kept stalling due to separate oblique and foot injuries. He followed 28/28 and 30/20 campaigns with 11 homers and 13 steals in 83 games, so it's easy to envision a 20/20 rebound if healthy. Myers also added third-base eligibility to his portfolio, making him an intriguing bounce-back pick often available around pick 100.
Andrew Gould - FantasyPros
Profar finally delivered on some of his long-forgotten prospect hype in 2018, putting up 20 homers and 10 steals with decent run production numbers. It remains to be seen if he can maintain or improve on those numbers, but he's another reasonable bench stash considering his prospect pedigree and the fact he'll have position eligibility all over the diamond.
Andrew Seifter - FantasyPros
Myers is commonly thought of as injury prone and last year's 79 missed games certainly doesn't help. With that said, he averages 23 homers and 20 steals over the last three years even despite last year's disappointing season. There is major upside here even though his batting average is almost certain to stay under .260 again.
Bobby Sylvester - FantasyPros
It took a bit longer than expected, but Profar finally emerged as a strong major leaguer by batting .254/.335/.458 with 20 homers and 10 steals. The Rangers oddly moved him to the A's, a move that presents a major ballpark downgrade after he slugged .511 in Arlington. Aside from a possible average uptick, the skills don't portend another leap forward. Perhaps the biggest incentive to drafting Profar is gleaning eligibility at first base, third, shortstop, and even second (10 games) in some leagues.
