Dustin Pedroia making progress after knee surgery

Dustin Pedroia has made good progress in his rehabilitation from offseason knee surgery, Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe reports. Pedroia is expected to be ready for spring training, telling reporters in a text, "I'll be ready, don't you worry." (Boston Globe)
Fantasy Impact:
Pedroia was able to make it through 2016 relatively healthy and hopefully, will go into 2017 fully recovered from his knee surgery. Pedroia had his best offensive season since 2011, finishing fourth in runs (105) and fifth in batting average (.318) among qualified second basemen.
