Chase Utley has multiple offers and is signing soon

Chase Utley is mulling a few offers and is looking to sign with a team soon. The 38-year-old is looking to stay close to home and either re-sign with the Dodgers or sign with the Angels. He hit .252/.319/.396 with 26 doubles, 14 home runs, 52 RBI and a 95 OPS+ in 138 games last season. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Dodgers relied on Utley as the leadoff hitter and starting 2B last season, but now have Logan Forsythe, so Utley would be a backup and a veteran prescence. The Angels are currently relying on Danny Espinosa at second base and Utley could be a DH in the American League, so more playing time could be in store if he moves across Los Angeles. Utley was solid at points last season, but has topped an .800 OPS only once in the last six seasons and his fantasy relevance is in the past.
