Jose Peraza set to replace Phillips at 2B

The Brandon Phillips trade to Atlanta is still pending a physical, but barring any issues there, Jose Peraza is expected to lineup as the Reds everyday 2B in 2017. The move could also create opportunities for Dilson Herrera - acquired from the Mets in the Jay Bruce trade last season - to get some big league playing time. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While Peraza's .355/.380/.477 slash line after the 2016 All-Star break may not be achievable for a whole season, his plus running tool combined with above average on base skills should result in a healthy amount of runs and stolen bases.
