Last year Davis was struggling with a lingering hand injury, though he did manage to play 157 games. According to reports, Davis has not had any swelling or pain through his first few days of batting practice. (Baltimore.cbslocal.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Chris Davis is one of the best power sources in all of baseball. Though he could be a liability in multiple other categories. In 2016 Davis his .221 with 219 strikeouts, 38 home runs, 84 RBI, and 99 runs. If Davis can get back to his 2015 numbers where he hit .262 with a .361 OBP you could get a good bang for your buck. Davis will always give you power so he's not much of a sleeper but don't reach too much for someone as unpredictable as Davis.
