Nori Aoki gets extra work before WBC

Aoki got some extra work in over the weekend, playing in both Grapefruit League games in prep for his stint in the WBC with Japan. Aoki went a combined 3-for-5, with a run scored, walk and a stolen base. He was removed from the second game after being hit by a pitch. He was not injured on the play, however, as the move was more of a precautionary one.
Fantasy Impact:
Aoki will be patrolling LF and batting lead off for the Astros this season, so it is nice to see him get off to a fast start this spring. If he continues to hit well during the WBC, he could shoot up drafts boards as an under the radar OF batting leadoff in a potent offense.
