Manager John Farrell says David Price (elbow) will not need surgery, but will receive treatment for 7-10 days before being re-evaluated, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports. (Tim Britton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is great news for Red Sox fans and fantasy owners of Price. He is not out of the woods yet but hopefully, with rest, he can resume throwing. It may be a good idea to avoid Price in the early rounds of upcoming drafts with the uncertainty of his health. Let someone else take the risk.
