Bumgarner looks ready to start the 2017 season, giving up just one run in the second inning of Sundays loss to the Royals. The left-hander finished the 2016 regular season with a 15-9 record, a 2.74 ERA, a 1.03 WHIP and 251 strikeouts across 226 2/3 innings.

Bumgarner ranked third in the National League in strikeouts and fourth both ERA and WHIP. He went 4-0 with a 1.05 ERA across six starts in May, showing just how dominant he can be.
