Brandon McCarthy allowed one hit and struck out three in three innings Friday against the Texas Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
McCarthy probably won't be fantasy relevant this season, but you never know with how the Dodgers' pitching staff has been ravaged by injury the past few seasons. McCarthy has the ability to rack up strikeouts, but he walks a ton of batters. He also has an extensive injury history himself. With that said, he could be asked to spot start at some point during the season and could be an interesting streaming option in the right matchup.
