A.J. Pollock leaves game Sunday

by Brendan Ringwood | Mon, Mar 13th 12:56am EDT

A.J. Pollock left the game on Sunday due to groin tightness after the first inning. According to the Diamondbacks, it was just precautionary that they took him out. (Arizona Diamondbacks on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

In Pollock's only at-bat he launched his first home run of the spring off Matt Moore. This brings his average to .235 with three extra base hits and five walks. While working his way back from injury last year in September, he only hit .244 in 12 games. It is good to see A.J. with good plate discipline and good contact so far this spring. At only age 29 he could still easily turn in another season like 2015 when he was the number three outfielder.
