Adrian Gonzalez represented Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, batting cleanup in all three games of group play. He was unable to get it going with the bat, notching only one single in twelve at-bats.
Fantasy Impact:
With Mexico's narrow elimination, the Dodgers' first baseman is set to rejoin his Major League team in spring training this week. Although he remains penciled into the middle of the Dodgers' order for now, the soon-to-be 35-year-old makes a poor option as a starting 1B in most fantasy formats in 2017.
