David Price to be examined by Red Sox doctor on Monday

David Price (elbow) will be examined by the Red Sox doctor on Monday to evaluate his arm strength, Brian MacPherson of the Providence Journal reports. Price has been slowly working his way back to mound work after experiencing forearm and elbow inflammation earlier in the month, and if his arm is deemed strong enough by the team doctor, he could see an increase in the intensity of his throwing. Fantasy Impact:

It is looking like Price will start the year on the disabled list for the Red Sox. And fantasy owners should be aware of Price's elbow situation in upcoming fantasy drafts. He is currently a big risk at the point he is being drafted at. There are other pitchers who should be picked up in that range. Let another owner take on the Price risk.
