Chad Green throws well once again

Chad Green allowed two hits over 3 1/3 scoreless innings against the Nationals on Monday. Green struck out two and walked one as he continues to battle for the last spot in the Yankees rotation. He has a 1.50 ERA this Spring.

Fantasy Impact:

While Luis Cessa, Bryan Mitchell, and Luis Severino have more hype and Adam Warren has more MLB experience, Green has been the best pitcher in the five man battle for the last two spots in the Yankees 2017 rotation. Green's strong performance will probably land him a rotation spot (with Mitchell and Cessa being sent to Triple-A or to long relief), but his lack of a track record has him on a short string. There are better options at the back end of a rotation, but his Spring performance makes him an interesting streamer.
