Koda Glover leading candidate for Nationals' closer role

Nationals manager Dusty Baker told reporters this week that RP Koda Glover has the stuff to close. The team is left deciding whether or not to start the season with the young right-hander as their closer. (MLB.com)

Glover clearly seems to be the team's closer of the future, and in this case the future could be now. His competition is lackluster, which is why he has a shot of taking over the role as soon as Opening Day. His expert consensus ranking (310) is ahead of his ADP (334), but both figure to climb through the remaining draft season with this week's news. Glover is a great candidate for those that wait on RPs as he has a great shot at taking over saves this season, and in the meantime he should be an asset for strikeouts and ratios.
