Carlos Santana still looking for first spring home run

by Gavin Tramps | Twins Correspondent | Fri, Mar 24th 7:32am EDT

1B/DH Carlos Santana went 1-for-3 in the Indians' 8-3 win over the Rockies in Thursday's Cactus League game

Fantasy Impact:

This was the second game in Arizona for Carlos Santana since returning from representing the Dominican Republic. Combined between the WBC and Cactus League, the 30-year-old is hitting .261 (12-for-46) with three extra-base hits but no home runs. The switch-hitter recorded career-highs in runs, home runs and RBI in a dominant season in 2016. He is a powerful slugger with patience at the plate and will be part of a formidable duo with Edwin Encarnacion.
