Giancarlo Stanton returns to Marlins camp on Friday

Giancarlo Stanton is expected to rejoin his Marlins teammates in Spring Training on Friday, after helping Team USA win their first ever World Baseball Classic Championship. Stanton only batted .227 over 22 at-bats, but he did hit two doubles and launch a mammoth home run that boasted one of the highest exit velocities ever recorded (117.3 MPH)
Fantasy Impact:
The low average is disappointing, as that is exactly what fantasy owners are hoping Stanton can improve. However, 22 at-bats is an incredibly small sample size, and the two most important things for Stanton are power and staying healthy, both of which he displayed at the WBC.
