Mitch Moreland sent to Boston to recover from flu

Mitch Moreland was removed from the Red Sox's Grapefruit League lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins while he tends to a case of the flu, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports. He's set to fly back to Boston is expected to remain away from the team for at least a few days. (Pete Abraham on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Moreland has had a nice spring and should see full-time work at first base to begin the season. He is supposed to platoon with Hanley Ramirez but Ramirez has been limited to DH duties with a shoulder issue. Moreland could be a sleeper pick later in the drafts as he should see some production in the Red Sox lineup and is tailor-made for Fenway Park.
