Matt Cain struggles in his first start of 2017

Making his 2017 debut, Matt Cain lasted just 4 1/3 innings pitched, giving up four runs, six hits, and three walks while striking out three. Cain also surrendered two home runs in spacious Petco Park.
Fantasy Impact:
Both home runs were hit by up-and-coming star Manuel Margot. Still, it's not what you want to see from someone pitching at Petco. Cain will have some time to show what he can do but isn't a lock to remain in the rotation all season. He can't be trusted as a fantasy option until proven otherwise.
