Jeff Samardzija handed second loss of the year

Jeff Samardzija picked up his second loss in as many starts Tuesday night. He went 6 2/3 innings and gave up three runs on five hits while walking four and striking out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
Samardzija' ERA now sits at 6.75 through two starts. The seven strikeouts were nice but even in a quality start he managed to hurt fantasy owners' WHIP with the nine base runners allowed. It was a better performance than last week, though, and he will remain a streaming option in the right matchups.
