Jeff Samardzija gives up runs early and Giants lose again

The Shark has not been sharp to start the season giving up runs early and often. Sunday was no different as he gave up three runs in the first inning en route to allowing four runs over seven innings and another loss.
Fantasy Impact:
It's been a tough ride for owners as Samardzija's strikeout numbers have been excellent, averaging 11.8 K/9, but he also owns a 6.16 ERA after three games. His next start comes on Sunday in Colorado which could be a nightmare. If you have another option, use him. It would be wise to bench Samardzija for his next start.
