James Shields solid again versus Twins

James Shields allowed just one earned run over six innings on Sunday against the Twins, giving up five hits and three walks while striking out five. Shields has now given up just one earned run in each of his three starts in 2017.
Fantasy Impact:
In true Shields fashion, each of the runs he has given up has come via a solo home run. Shields is walking way too many batters to continue his success (10 free passes in 16 2/3 innings), but he is striking out about a batter per inning. Recent history suggests not to buy into Shields, but he's at least worth monitoring now. His next start will be at home against the Indians.
