Mike Napoli has been cold to start 2017. Yesterday, he was able to get on base twice, once by walk, once by single, while scoring a run in the thrilling loss to the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Napoli is hitting an abysmal .156 with a .255 OBP to start the year. With only three extra base hits, one can wonder whether Napoli's age is catching up to him. There is still tons of time for him to get going and turn it around, but a continued slump and the looming return of Adrian Beltre could put Napoli in danger of losing at bats.
