Aroldis Chapman earns fourth save

by Chris Zolli | Pirates Correspondent | Tue, Apr 18th 8:29am EDT

Aroldis Chapman threw two pitches for the Yankees last night, allowing a single to Leury Garcia and inducing a double play from Tyler Saladino to earn the 8th consecutive win for the Yankees. This is the first appearance where Chapman did not record a strikeout, sixth overall, and the second where he came in the middle of the inning. Chapman has yet to allow a run this season.

Fantasy Impact:

The Yankees had a comfortable 7-3 lead in the ninth before Adam Warren got into some trouble and Chapman was needed for the last two outs. While Chapman has been as lights out as possible, he has allowed a base runner in each of his last three appearances after pitching three clean outings to open the season. If worrying about base runners and not runs is the only issue for Chapman, who has eight strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings, fantasy owners will be happy all season.
