Fantasy Impact:

Manager Terry Francona wouldn't come out and say it, but he indicated that Jason Kipnis should join the Indians in time for their three-game series against the White Sox in Chicago. Yandy Diaz is expected to be optioned back to Triple-A and Jose Ramirez will shift across to third base. Kipnis stole 30 bases in 2013, batted .303 in 2015, and hit 23 home runs last year. He has the potential to be a top-5 second baseman if he can put it together.
