Matt Shoemaker strikes out seven in quality start

Matt Shoemaker turned in his best performance of the young season on Thursday, striking out seven and allowing just three hits and two runs over seven strong innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Thursday was Shoemaker's second consecutive strong start and his best start of 2017 so far, as he earned his first quality start and struck out a batter per inning. He did give up another two home runs, however, and he has given up at least one home run in every start so far. Shoemaker also took the hard-luck loss on Thursday, despite giving up just two runs over seven innings.
