Jonathan Villar went 2-for-5 Friday night against the Cardinals, striking out three times.
Fantasy Impact:
Strikeouts have always been a part of Villar's game. He has already struck out 31 times in 74 at-bats pushing his batting average down to a miserable .176. The even bigger problem is his OBP is now down to .228 meaning he is not getting a lot of chances to steal any bases. He has collected two hits in back-to-back games and has a three-game hit streak going if you can call that a streak so he might be warming up.
