Jim Johnson tagged with loss and blown save Saturday night
by Steve Painter | Sun, Apr 23rd 1:17am EDT
Jim Johnson just had one of those nights when things out of your control affect outcomes, and that is what happened as he allowed four hits and two runs (both earned) while walking none and striking out two in the tenth inning that resulted in the Braves losing 4-3. Two of the hits were of the infield variety as the Braves just couldn't make the plays on them as they normally would and that created the opportunity for the Phillies to win the game. This was Johnson's second blown save of the season and his record stands at 2-1 with the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite everything, Johnson pitched well tonight so there are absolutely no worries with anything related to his pitching. Play him with confidence.
