Yovani Gallardo earns first win of the season

The Seattle Mariners put on an offensive display, but did not need it as Yovani Gallardo logged a quality start on Sunday. He was replaced in the seventh inning with one out while only surrendering a single earned run. He struck out seven and only five runners reached base during his time on the mound.
Fantasy Impact:
Gallardo has been serviceable to start the season in AL-only formats. His best days are behind him but he can still be helpful in the right situations. He can be a cheap option in DFS lineups when pitching against weaker offenses, especially if pitching in a park like Safeco Field.
